What Does It Offer?

Aflac Final Expense Whole Life Insurance

Aflac’s Final Expense Whole Life Insurance is a policy that can help individuals protect their loved ones’ financial security by addressing end-of-life expenses not covered under Medicare and other programs. It also encourages families to have conversations about final expenses, which can be uncomfortable.

The average out-of-pocket medical expenses during one’s last year of life can be expensive, and in addition to these costs, there are often significant expenses involved with settling a loved one’s estate, including funeral costs.

Aflac’s Final Expense Whole Life Insurance is available in two options, the Level Plan and the Modified Plan, and both have a guaranteed level premium and death benefit paid to the beneficiary while the policy is active. The plans are available for individuals who are between the ages of 45 and 80, and benefit amounts range from $2,000 to $50,000, depending on the plan chosen. The Level Plan also offers accelerated and accidental death benefit riders, as well as a children’s term insurance rider.

Aflac Medicare Supplement Insurance

Medicare provides coverage for various health-related expenses, but it does not cover all expenses like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. To help people manage their expenses during retirement, Aflac has introduced Medicare Supplement Insurance policies. These policies aim to fill in the gaps of coverage left by Medicare.

Aflac’s Medicare Supplement plans A, F, G, and N provide consumers with the freedom to choose any provider that accepts Medicare at a convenient location that best suits their needs. They do not require precertification or pre-authorization. The plan benefits remain the same year after year and are portable. This means that if policyholders move or travel, their coverage will go with them.

To better serve the non-workplace individual market, Aflac’s Final Expense Whole Life Insurance and Medicare Supplement Insurance join other offerings, including Accident, Cancer, and Critical Illness products that launched last year.

It is important to note that Aflac’s Medicare Supplement Insurance plans A, F, G, and N will not be available in AK, CT, DC, HI, MA, ME, MN, NY, and WA.
